Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie - Recipe
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth, serves two people.
This is a sweet and creamy smoothie, the peanut butter adds a great source of protein. Peanut butter sounds like a funny ingredient but it works well even without the jam. It's sort of a spin on a popular peanut butter and banana sandwich.
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 medium banana
- 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (low-fat if desired)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of honey
- 1/4 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup non-fat milk(2% for creamier texture)
Simple Blueberry Pinapple - Recipe
This is my favorite smoothie, it's very simple to make and healthy. Mix all the ingredients and blend it up in your blender. It mixes up very blue and the pineapple is a really nice combination with the blueberries and juice. You can buy frozen berries in your grocery store cheaper than fresh ones. They're nice frozen because you don't have to add ice cubes to make it cold.
- 1 cup of pinapple
- 1 cup of frozen blueberries
- 1 cup of blueberry juice
