One review said they weren't a believer until they had their own Cuisinart immersion blender. They thought it was substantial yet quiet, and they were surprised at how well it works -  "works really, really well". The hand blender is easy to clean because the blender part that comes in contact with the food detaches completely. The reviewer enjoys puree soup, carrot soup, cauliflower soup and sweet potato soup.

Another reviewer owned three hand blenders prior to trying this one and this one "is by far the most solid, smoothest running and easiest to clean." They thought the  brushed chrome looked awesome and was easier to clean than the plastic versions. The compared the blender to top foreign import luxary cars and thought the thirty dollar price tag was very reasonable.
